From 3rd of August to 3rd of October our PhD student Anna Pifczyk undertook a research internship at the Photophysics Group at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, UK. This mobility was funded by NAWA STER (internationalization of doctoral schools, 2023 edition, agreement no BPI/STE/2023/1/00027/U/00001/).
The research was focused on the fluorescence study of colloidal systems. The collaboration gave her the opportunity to utilize advanced equipment for techniques such as fluorescence lifetime measurement (TCSPC), steady-state fluorescence spectroscopy. Moreover, the internship allowed cooperation with experts in fluorescence field.
